Cyanotype Mural

Community Connect Brampton Arts Organization workshop, Supported by Roberta Bondar Public School, 2025. Together with school community members we embarked on a journey to create a cyanotype fabric mural, a process that left us with cherished memories. Cyanotype, one of the earliest photographic mediums invented in the 1840s, is a beautiful blend of art, science, and history. It's a medium that has stood the test of time, and we are thrilled to bring it to life in our community. During this session, we celebrated creativity, connection, and the diverse ways we foster a sense of belonging. It was a chance for us to come together, explore what 'Connection' means to each of us, and express those feelings through creative process. This workshop was designed to not only provide a creative outlet for the participants but also to create a sense of unity and collaboration within the community. It was a chance to express creativity and contribute to a larger artistic endeavor that symbolizes our community's diverse connections.
