Our Mission is to engage communities through visual art with an aim to inspire connection, environmental care and celebrate collective stories. Creating together is Sustaining forever and we like to extend this experience through our creative workshops.

Art Studio is a place where Art takes Form, from imagination, inspiration improvisation or innovation by using various materials and techniques. It is from here creativity take flight to the world like a bird (Izza). Our daughter when started speaking used to refer a bird as Izza. Creative spirit takes flight in similar fashion. This is the story behind the joint venture Izza.
This interdisciplinary studio aims to generate ideas where young hands and wise hearts can weave stories that root us in place and time.

ArtStudioIzza | Upcoming Events: “Binding the Earth - Natural Dye Workshop” invites participants to explore the fundamentals of natural dyeing through a guided, hands-on session. Learn how to prepare fibers, create botanical dye baths, and achieve lasting color using plant-based materials, with practical demonstrations and expert instruction throughout.
A group show featuring works from Algoma University's Community economic and Social department students. The event aims to celebrate and explore the impact of Art based approaches on Community issues. It was an amazing experience to facilitate these workshops and curate this show.
